Q. Who is the Coalition?
The Coalition is a non-profit organization committed to ending America's dependence on foreign oil.
Q. Why do we need to stop importing foreign oil?
Our dependency on foreign oil is unsustainable economically and is a major contributor to the political and social conflicts erupting in the world today.
Q. What actions must be taken to reduce our need for foreign oil?
Given that the entire economic system of the United States revolves around the distribution and use of oil, only a massive effort from both the private and public sectors of our country will be able to effect a change in our use of oil.
Q. Why haven't our political leaders initiated programs to reduce our need for foreign oil?
The size and scope of the initiative necessary to bring about a change in our oil usage demands broad support from the American people - to date the American people, uneducated to the extent of the problem, have been reluctant to give their support.
Q. What part can the Coalition play in eliminating our dependency on foreign oil?
By building an educated and commitment membership, the Coalition can give our political leaders the support they need to make the right decisions.
Q. How can an individual help the Coalition?
Every new membership sends a message to our political leaders that the American people are ready to support them.
Q: What is a Tgroup?
A: A Tgroup is just a metaphor for all the members who sign up directly or indirectly because of your efforts. We ask each member to nominate five new members, and to ensure that the five new members they nominate - also invite five new members. You build a tree - a Tgroup.
Q: What is 5-on-5?
A: 5-on-5 is our slogan and it is meant to help our members better understand how to build their Tgroup. This slogan reminds each member of the overall goal of recruiting five direct members who will also agree to nominate five new members.
